IIT Bombay's Prof. Karthikeyan Lanka selected for NASI Young Scientist Award 2026: Here's why he was honoured

IIT Bombay has announced that Associate Professor Karthikeyan Lanka has been selected for the National Academy of Sciences, India Young Scientist Award 2026. Prof. Lanka, who joined IIT Bombay in 2019 and became Associate Professor in 2025, holds bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in Civil Engineering. His academic journey includes several research awards, travel grants and recognised contributions to groundwater and civil engineering research.
