If you've ever found yourself driving to Beaumont from Houston and wondered “what's in the establishment with the giant green sheet metal alligator?” Well the answer is alligators, lots of them. From Big Al, at over a century old, to Big Tex, the largest gator in captivity (13 ft 11 in). Once you walk in you can buy pellets to feed the smaller gators or hotdogs to feed the larger ones. The lot houses over 450 alligators, crocodiles and caimans as well as other animals all rescued from the surrounding area. If you'd like you can even pay to wade in the water with baby alligators
