Five Guys closed 31 stores last year, even as it grew its presence overall: Here’s where locations shuttered

Five Guys continued to grow its physical footprint last year, but the fast-food burger chain also closed 31 U.S. stores in multiple states, according to its most recent franchise disclosure document. The document, issued in late June, reveals that Five Guys operated 1,583 locations across the United States and Canada at the end of fiscal year 2025, a net increase of 25 locations from the beginning of the year.
