The Fisher Building is this amazingly beautiful building in Detroit, designed in an Art Deco style. It was completed in 1928, and has been called "Detroit's largest art object." This ornate 30-story building, faced with limestone, granite, and several types of marble, is one of the major works of architect Albert Kahn. The namesake of the building, the Fisher family, financed the building with proceeds from the sale of Fisher Body to General Motors.
